Pop legend Li Zongsheng and wife ended marriage

Updated: 2004-07-13 10:47 Taiwan pop legend Li Zongsheng has emailed all
major news agencies in the Chinese
mainland, confessing his recent divorce
with singer wife, Lin Yilian (Sandy), the Information Times reports July
13.

ended our marriage in peace and I wish her a good partner in the future who fits
her more than me," said Li in the confessing email in a bid to prevent
further media raids concerning the issue.
No details on their children's custody are revealed. The two has nurtured 3
children since they got married in 1998 afer a great market stunt of Sandy Lin's
album "Scars" produced by Li.
Li now lives mainly in Beijing hoping to revitalize his music career while
Lin moved back to her Hong Kong base after the divorce.
