Prelude for Faye Wong Beijing solo concert

Updated: 2004-08-08 14:35  Scheduled for late August at Workers Stadium in Beijing, Faye Wong, or
Wang Fei in mandarin, is set for her hometown solo concert.
All equipment
used in the concert is to be specially shipped from Hong Kong and the stage will
be designed to stretch up to 30 meters into the audience.
And one of the Hong Kong star's eclectic outfits, which includes 20
centimeter high-heel shoes and a one meter high headpiece, will also stun her
fans.
In addition, there will be a special zone cordoned-off for her friends and
relatives.
Her friend Na Ying, a mainland singer will make a guest appearance at the
concert, although she is already pregnant.
The concert line-up has mostly been decided and will include both classic and
recent songs. Organizers also welcome audience suggestions for the repertoire.
