China entered the last eight with a 1-0 victory over Qatar at the AFC Youth Championship on September 29.

The two sides held to a goalless in the first half at the Cheras Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.

China's Manchester United striker Dong Fangzhuo broke the deadlock by shooting the goal in the 55th minute.

With a maximum of seven points from three games, China have confirmed top spot in Group B and secured a place in the quarter-finals.

The Chinese team will take on the second place of Group A in the quarter-finals.
