Three Chinese films to compete for Oscar

Three Chinese movies are to be listed for potential nomination for Best Foreign Film at the 2005 Oscar Film Festival.


Top: House of Flying Daggers
Left: Running Karma
Right: 20 : 30 : 40


Zhang Yi Mou's "House of Flying Daggers", Sylvia Chang's "20 : 30 : 40" as well as Johnny To and Wai Ka-Fai's "Running Karma" are up for nomination. Also included in the list are Spanish film "Mar adentro", Italy's "The Keys to the House" and "Lost Embrace" from Argentina.

The final nomination will be announced on 25th January next year.
