Int'l medical instrument expo to be held in 2005

The 17th International Medical Instrument and Equipment Exhibition will be held at China International Exhibition Center from April 24 to 27, 2005.

In recent exhibitions, the trade volume hit more than US$30 million for each annual show.

People have higher demand for high-quality medical equipment thanked to their improved living standard, one of the organizers said.

Expert said China's reform of medical sectors could enlarged its market for medical instrument so there is huge potential for overseas manufacturers to tap.

The exhibition is the only medical instrument trade fair in China which passed the approval of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), the union of the world's leading trade show organizers.

The 17th exhibition is expected to have an exposition area of over 25,000 square meters.
