Shanghai football teams fined for derby bust-up
Two Shanghai based football clubs were fined by the Chinese Football Association for having a bust-up in a league match last weekend.
Vice manager of Shanghai International, Wang Guolin, who slapped the judge during half-time, was fined 50,000 yuan and banned from his team's games for six months. Players who attacked each other with the ball were each fined 20,000 yuan and barred from the next four rounds of league matches. The two teams locked in a fist fight in a derby match in Shanghai last Sunday, when Shanghai Shenhua beat Shanghai International 3-2. |
