Susilo announces Indonesia's new cabinet line-up (Agencies) Updated: 2004-10-21 10:11
Indonesian new President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono announced his 34 members of
the new cabinet at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta at the midnight of
Wednesday and a few minutes in early Thursday.
Susilo termed the new government as the "Indonesian Union Cabinet".

Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security Widodo AS,Coordinating
Minister for Economy Aburizal Bakrie, and Coordinating Minister for People's
Welfare and Poverty Alleviation Alwi Shihab.
Other major ministers include Foreign Affair Minister Hassan Wirajuda who
retains his post, Defense Minister Juwono Sudarsono, Finance Minister Yusuf
Anwar and Trade Minster Mari Elka Pangestu,who is a well-known
Indonesian-Chinese economist, and Abdurrahman Saleh, Chief of Attorney General
Office (AGO), and State SecretaryYusril Ihza Mahendra.
The new members of the cabinet are scheduled to swear in at the palace at
10:00 (local time) on Thursday.
