Traffic accident kills 15 in Guangxi

A traffic accident killed 15 people and injured eight others in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Sunday, local police said.

The tragedy occurred at around 10 a.m. Sunday when a vehicle with 23 passengers aboard ran into a river in Zhaoping County of Hezhou City. Eight of the passengers have been rescued while the others found dead.

Investigation into the cause is underway.
