Yao Ming gets season-high rebounds -- 17
Bob Sura just missed his third career triple-double with 24 points, nine assists and eight rebounds and sat out much of the fourth quarter with the Rockets leading by as many as 23. Sura played for the Warriors from 2000-2003. Houston, which is 27th in the NBA in rebounding, had a season-high 65. Jason Richardson led the Warriors with 25 points, and Troy Murphy added 11 points and 13 rebounds. Golden State forward Mike Dunleavy missed the game with a bruised lower left leg. Mickael Pietrus replaced him in the starting lineup. Sura, who missed the first 14 games of this season following back surgery, had 17 points at the half as Houston took a 55-39 lead. It was the most points by the Rockets in a first half this season, and their 29 second-quarter points also were a season best. |
