Beijing will restrain the structure and scale of real estate development in the
city in 2005, according to a senior municipal official.
"It's necessary
to restrict those areas which have blind and excessive construction," said Ding

Reform, on Thursday.
The municipal government will impose strict
limitations on the construction of office buildings, apartments, hotels and big
