Woman, 63, has breasts enlarged

MS. Zhao, a teacher in Guangzhou, recently underwent breast enlargement surgery with her husband's support.

Zhao spent more than 10,000 yuan (US$1,200) on the cosmetic surgery, for having the adventure ---- "everyone has a beauty-loving heart despite ageing", reported Guangzhou Daily.

Zhao thought about boosting the size of her breasts about 10 years ago. After retiring in 1997, Zhao often went out dancing with friends. Ballroom and Latin are her favorites.

But she felt her flat breasts were not so attractive. So she talked to her husband about having surgery and he agreed.

Zhao went to the hospital alone, with a debit card, and the surgery was completed within an hour.

Zhao and her husband came to Guangzhou from Changsha of Hunan Province 20 years ago. They had three children, and the family was an enlightened one, Zhao said. She now has three grandchildren.

Zhao said she didn't tell her children about the surgery. "I am not afraid that they wouldn't understand me, but we belong to two generations after all. I don't want too many to know about my privacy," said Zhao.

Zhao's surgeon said another woman aged 68 was also considering having breast enlargement surgery.
