Second explosion hits Baghdad - witnesses

A second large blast was heard in Baghdad on Wednesday, witnesses said.

Smoke was seen rising from the site of the explosion, but the cause of the blast was not immediately known and there was no immediate word on casualties.

An earlier car bomb in Baghdad, aimed at Iraqis signing up for the army, killed at least six people and wounded 28.
