Hao's assistant boosts club win

Chinese veteran Hao Haidong has completed his debut appearance for northern English club, Sheffield United; an assist from the Chinese player helped his side clinch a one-nil victory.

In a reserve team clash against Tranmere, Hao started for Sheffield United and played 65 minutes.

In the 17th minute, Hao received an overhead pass in the penalty box. The striker fed the ball to a teammate Steven Kabba, who scored the match's only goal with a volley drive.
