Flying windows better on walls than airborne A French window flew down from a third floor and damaged two parked cars, almost hit an old woman, and paralyzed an apartment owner with fright, the Beijing News reports. The French window, which is five metres high and three metres wide, fell suddenly, together with its frame. A woman who was passing screamed but was able to dodge the missile. The window's owner, Zou, collapsed to the ground when she turned her head and saw the empty wall behind her. The incident is still under investigation.
