Shide top Super League rankings

Zoran Yankovic played a hat-trick to lead Dalian Shide to a 4-2 win over Liaoning Zhongyu in the second round of the Chinese Football Super League.

Liaoning's Wang Gang drew the first blood for the home side with a goal after 40 seconds.

But Yankovic equalised four minutes later from a free kick.

The in-form Bulgarian striker scored two more goals for Dalian and Miodrag Pantelic added one more in the 81st minute to seal the victory for the visitors.

Dalian Shide now tops the Super League rankings with six points after winning two games they've played.

In others matches, Beijing Hyundai stunned Shanghai Shenhua 4-0, Wuhan Huangheluo lost to Qingdao Bright 2-0, while Shandong Luneng struggled to a 1-0 win over Shanghai Zhongbang.
