Juventus, hoping to win its 28th league title, leads second-place Milan by three points with three games left.

Milan, a Champions League finalist, was coming off an exhausting game at PSV Eindhoven in the European tournament's semifinals Wednesday. It played poorly in the first half and failed to produce any scoring chances. In the second half, substitutes Filippo Inzaghi, Serginho and Rui Costa energized Milan's attack, but the team still failed to score.

During injury time, Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon made key saves after Inzaghi's shot produced a flurry of rebounds.

Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero, who fed Trezeguet for the goal with a spectacular bicycle kick, had a good chance for a second goal in the 65th minute but his header struck the crossbar.

Milan faces Liverpool in the Champions League final May 25 in Istanbul, Turkey.

Also, Inter stayed in third place with a 3-0 win at Brescia behind two goals by Obafemi Martins and one by Christian Vieri.
