Li Yongbo, head coach of Chinese national badminton team, downplayed South Korean mixed double players Kim Dong Moon and Ra Kyung Min here on Monday.

In a press conference, Li said that Kim and Ra's return formed no threat to China since they didn't play any games after the Athens Olympic Games.

"In Sydney, Chinese Zhang Jun and Gao Ling beat them in the quarterfinal and went on to win the gold at last, which gives us psychological advantage," Li added.

In their second attempt for Olympic gold medal, Kim and Ra were beaten in the quarterfinal by Danish pair Jonas Rasmussen and Rikke Olsen, while Zhang and Gao defended the title.

Kim Jong-Soo, head coach of South Korea team, gave no definite answer whether Kim and Ra would pair for the Sudirman Cup, insisting that their emphasis would be put on men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.

As for South Korea's chances to defend the title, the head coach said, "ten percent."
