Police to use helicopters in Beijing Olympics

China will equip police with helicopters to ensure public security during 2008 Beijing Olympics.

An official released the news Tuesday at a press conference held by ministry of Public Security. He said the ministry has also set up a management office for Police Aviation.

It is reported that the Chinese police have deployed nearly 20 helicopters so far for the Olympics.
