Juventus interested in Robinho Juventus, from Italy, seems to be interested in Robinho, the Brazilian striker also sought by Spain's Real Madrid, yet with an advantage over the latter, said Tuesday daily O Estado de Sao Paulo. Juventus, unlike Real which would pay 21 million dollars out of the 50 million sought by the Brazilian team, proposes to pay just 10 million dollars, but for 40 percent of the transfer of the player, and admits to receive him in its ranks until 2008, when Robinhos contract with the Brazilian champion of last year expires, said the daily. Juventus' offer was put forth to Gilva de Souza, father of Robinho and to his representtive Wagner Ribeiro, who also is the representative of Real Madrid in negotiations with Santos. Ribeiro Monday announced that Real will not pay over 25 milliondollars for Robinho and that it expects to close negotiations with Santos by July 8. These conditions are contained in the new offer to the Santos executives, sent by Real Madrid through Ribeiro. Another club interested in having Robinho's services is England's Arsenal, as mentioned Sunday by its coach Arsene Wenger. This club would have also offered 25 million dollars.
