4 killed, over 60 injured in train collision in Indonesia (Agencies) Updated: 2005-07-01 13:40
At least four people were killed and more than 50 others injured when one
train crashed into another in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon, news reports and
hospital officials said.

June 30, 2005. [AP] | A regular train crashed into an express train from behind as the express
train was stopped on the tracks, local TV and radio reports said. Both trains
were reportedly on their way from the West Java town of Bogor to Jakarta.
Witnesses were quoted as saying the accident occurred in the Rawa Bambu area
of South Jakarta at around 4:05 p.m.
Officials at the Pasar Rebo Hospital, where most of the victims were rushed,
said they received 52 victims -- three of them were dead -- from the accident.
It was not immediately clear how accident occurred.
