Package explodes at Japanese post office, no one injured

A package exploded at a post office in the southeastern city of Fukuoka early Monday, causing minor damage, local police said. No one was injured.

Police were investigating the cause of the explosion, which occurred around 9:40 a.m. (0030 GMT), prefectural police spokesman Youichi Oyama said, adding "the damage appears to be light."
