Dong Fangzhuo has to dig deeper
Praise and pressure Manchester United veterans Paul Scholes and their new signing, Dutch international goal-keeper Edwin Van Der Sar, also sang Dong's praises. "He is young and has good skills. But has not scored against me yet (during the training)," said the Dutchman. "But his goal in the Hong Kong match is good for the club and also good for his fans. I think he will do something for the club." Scholes was also impressed with Dong, saying both he and South Korean new boy Park Ji-Sung were welcome additions to the squad. "I'm sure they will both fit into the team very well," said the Salford-born playmaker. Park, a 24-year-old midfielder, has been training with the first team for two weeks now and already feels settled. "I feel very comfortable here," said Park, whose impressive performances including a header in Tuesday's match are likely to award him a starting line-up position in the star-studded team. Dong is clear there is a lot to improve compared with his Asian counterpart. During the match against Guo'an, he failed to put on much of a show in front of local fans and did not get a chance at goal. "I think I need to improve myself in every aspect. Training, daily life,
experiences."
