Indonesian Hidayat powers into world final
ANAHEIM, California, Aug 20 (Reuters) - Olympic gold medallist Taufik Hidayat reached the final of the world championships by beating Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei on Saturday. He now meets the winner of the second semi-final between top seed Lin Dan of China and number three Peter Gade of Denmark. In the women's event, top seed Zhang Ning of China defeated number six Xu Huaiwen of Germany 11-7 11-9 to secure a place in the final against her compatriot Xie Xingfang or Cheng Shao-Chieh of Taiwan.
