Explosion near Sanlitun

A blast shattered windows of an office tower
in Sanlitun area in downtown Beijing August 28, 2005. One passer-by near
the building was injured by flying glass pieces and several cars parked
there were damaged. It was reported that the explosion was likely caused
by gas leak and the property management company said the rooms where the
blast happened were under decoration. [newsphoto]
