Islamic millitants in the West Bank on September 25, 2005, the army said,
in the toughest crackdown in months after the Jewish state vowed to stop
Palestinian rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip. Ghazal and other top Hamas
officials in the occupied West Bank were among those detained, relatives
and sources in the militant group said.
