Bush says US-China relations important
(Xinhua)
Updated: 2005-11-20 19:12

A Macao-based newspaper notes that the Bush administration is re-defining China-US relations, namely shifting from the relationship of slightly hostile strategic competitors to that of more equal sharers of interests.

Other newspapers and news networks including the People's Daily, the Economic Daily, the Chinese Youth Daily, sina and xinhuanet are carrying comprehensive special news reports about Bush's China visit.

Ordinary Chinese people are concerned about Bush's visit as well. Netizens have left about 1,000 messages on sina, one of the most popular Chinese news networks.
