Capturing the Earth from space

An astronauts' photograph show opened in
Beijing December 2, 2005. Pictures taken from space by astronauts of
China's two manned space missions are on display. This photo was
taken by Fei Junlong in October 2005 during his multiday mission,
capturing a vast desert area in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur
Autonomous Region. Fei and his colleague Nie Haisheng took over 300
pictures, of these, twenty are on display.
