Professor willing to pay for right answer
Right or wrong? If you are the first to come up with an answer, you can win 10,000 yuan (US$1,200) offered by a professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), who wants to verify a controversial question in the national entrance examination last year, Beijing News reports. Zhu Ruzeng has been insisting that one of the maths questions "is wrong" and appealed to the Ministry of Education to correct it, but the latter rejected his request, saying "the examination question is not scientifically wrong" but seems a little ambiguous. He is offering the reward for the purpose of safeguarding the integrity of the examination and maintaining social justice, Zhu said. |
