Different people, same misfortune A judge in Taiwan Province was profoundly perplexed after two women sharing the same surname and family name in the same county applied for divorce to the same court at the same time. Both of them have three children and their husbands both have notorious reputations for gambling, leaving the judge totally flummoxed, reports United Evening News. The older women, 58, told the judge that her husband, an alcoholic and gambling addict, had beaten her for many years and once threatened to kill her. While the younger one, 47, said her husband had sold all of her gold jewellery, and their house and car because of his gambling fixation. The judge who first confused the two cases for one, said he felt sad about two women sharing the same misfortune. |
