Peasant collects 50,000 fasteners

A peasant in Northeast China's Liaoning Province collected 52,798 fasteners of 18,100 kinds over the past 25 years, reports Liaoning Daily.

The man, surnamed Gu, started his tailoring business in the late 1970s, when he was attracted by colourful fasteners, and began to collect them in 1979.

He later gave up his business and took up collecting as his career, visiting more than 30 famous fastener manufacturers in 20 provinces, and has collected almost 10,000 foreign fasteners.
