Presentation and docking of Olympics business opportunities

The Olympics economy, which receives special attention from scientific, technological, industrial and commercial circles both home and abroad, will remain an important theme at the Expo.

Along with the all-round debut of the construction of Olympics projects and the implementation of its market development plan, the Olympics theme of the 7th Expo will touch on deeper and more substantial subject matter, such as scientific and technological Olympics powering urban development, the introduction of high technology in constructing Olympics-related projects, etc.

There will be a special hall  to feature scientific and technological innovations in the capital city and highlight the importance of combining the development of scientific and technological Olympics projects with scientific and technological innovations and urban development in the capital city.

Demonstrating the application of high technology at the organization level and the construction of Olympics-related projects, the exhibitions will highlight the business opportunities and impetus brought about by scientific and technological Olympics to attract high technology both from home and abroad. A large number of projects by universities and scientific research institutions in Beijing that have won the National Scientific and Technological Progress Award will be on display in the special hall. The "Modern Information Management of City Transportation and Intelligent Transportation Technology and Equipment" exhibition will also be introduced for the first time.

And the "Promotion of Olympic Venues Construction Projects," which has been a global focus for the past two sessions, will be probed for modes of financing in the implementation of construction projects for Olympic venues, new technologies used in the construction and publishing the demand and bidding for building materials and equipment.

This will be an occasion for international contacts and exchanges between developers, contractors and equipment suppliers to construct Olympic venues.

The "International Forum on Intelligent Information Services for Olympic Multilingual Demand" will gather multilingual experts from various countries to explore information services for multilingual service demand for the 2008 Olympics and international cooperation in the project.
