As scientific and technological innovation subjects, enterprises will take center stage at the Expo.
With a large number of enterprises participating in the exhibitions and trade talks, the forums and specialized conferences will be geared more towards enterprises, aiming to provide advice from a research and development, , marketing management, financing channel, management mechanism and human-resources development perspective for innovative development, and introduce the most up-to-date concepts and valuable experience in international enterprise management.
For example, the "China-EU Sustainable Business CEO Forum" will serve as a direct exchange between presidents of top EU (European Union) enterprises in China and presidents from top Chinese enterprises. The "International Competitiveness of Chinese Enterprises Forum," which will feature the cultivation of China's large-scale enterprises and transnational corporations, will address enterprise competitiveness in such industries as electronics, textiles, and iron and steel respectively, and produce a report on the international competitiveness of Chinese enterprises.
"The High-level Forum on Human Capital and Competitiveness of Enterprises" will assemble high-level personages in human resources management from the top 500 international enterprises and famous domestic enterprises to swap the most up-to-date concepts and experience in the development and utilization of human capital in enterprises, human capital and corporate culture, strategic management of human resources, etc.
"The Beijing International Forum on Enterprise Intellectual Property Rights," which will be held for the first time, will cover the intellectual property rights (IPR) issues faced by Chinese enterprises after China's accession to the World Trade Organization, and conduct exchanges and explore the management and strategy of IPR in high-tech enterprises and the relationship between IPR and enterprise core competitiveness.
