Fat dog undergoes Caesarean operation
An overweight dog gave birth to six babies after a Caesarean operation last Wednesday in Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu Province, Yangtze Evening News reports. According to the owner, her pet was always fed very nutritious food, which made the dog put on too much weight. To avoid having her dog suffer through a difficult labour, the owner had to take it to a pet hospital and spend 250 yuan (US$30) for a Caesarean operation.
