Drunkard mistakes detergent for beer

A man from Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang Province, mistook detergent for beer and drank it after he became drunk, Heilongjiang Morning Post reports.

The man surnamed Sun drank a lot of beer at the home of a friend one night last week. After he drank more than 10 bottles of beer, he became quite drunk and went to the washing room.

He found what he believed was a beer bottle on the window of the washing room. He picked it up and drank from it. Then he went to sleep on the ground of the washing room.

He did know that it was not beer but detergent in the bottle. He was sent to hospital and his stomach was pumped.
