Self-working man plies the bicycle trade
A young man, whose face was disfigured by boiling water when he was just three years old, has started a career repairing bicycles in the city of Wuhan, Hubei Province. Liang Chen, 26, had been rejected from so many jobs that he decided to set out on his own as a bicycle repair man. To gain the necessary skills, Liang bought two old bikes, repeatedly taking them apart and rebuilding them until he understood how all the parts worked. Taking advantage of modern technology, he also surfed the Internet to find out about the latest advances in bicycle design. Now, not only does he repair and customize bicycles - he has taken to installing sound-systems on some models - but he also plans to set up the first bike club in Wuhan, reports Chutian Metropolis News. |
