Make no misnake about it, You loves his snakes

Mr You is moving into a new house with his loving "pets" - two huge boa constrictors, the Beijing Morning Post reports.

The Guangzhou citizen posted a message on a website about his snakes to invite other animal lovers to exchange ideas about the critters.

The message has disturbed his fellow property owners, who expressed concerns about living in a complex with the animals. "It's horrible to think that we are going to share a place with such dangerous animals. Will you be taking your pets out for a walk?"

Some are totally against raising snakes in a residential setting

Afraid of causing further trouble, Mr You immediately declared he would keep them inside his home and enjoy them himself.

Actually, such snakes are quite harmless as long as they're not hungry - given a few plump rats to swallow each week, they're never any trouble.
