MEAGOC holds training course for Wushu refs, staff

The Macau 4th East Asian Games Organising Committee (MEAGOC) held a training course for Wushu referees and staff at the IPM Mulitsport Pavilion on 15 September.

A total of 60 people from the Wushu organisation and volunteers participated in the course. The instructors were Zhou Jinbiao and Gan Xiaobing from the international Wushu association, and they passed on their knowledge and experience to the referees and staff on how to manage a championship. A Director of MEAGOC, Wallis O, explained how the Wushu tournament of the East Asian Games would work, and allocated specific functions to the staff. The President of the Executive Council of the Macau Wushu Association, Chan Weng Kit, and vice president Lei Man Iam encouraged participants to get involved in the 4th East Asian Games.
