Baby panda celebrates the birthday
One-year-old giant panda Lou Sheng is served with a cake by staff workers to celebrate his birthday at Louguan Wildlife Protection Center of Zhouzhi County, Northwest China's Shaanxi Province August 2, 2004. Lou Sheng is the first panda cub born by artificial propagation in the province, according to the center. China now has 1,750 giant pandas with nearly one tenth living in captivity. [newsphoto]
