Baiyun Mountain forbids automobiles

This new policy intends to protect Visitors from automotive pollution during the daytime.

Tourists who drove their cars into the park yesterday were directed to park their cars at the parking lot at the southern entrance and take cable cars or electric cars to
the mountain top.

The official from Baiyun Mountain management bureau Mr. Luo Wanqin said the parking lots near the mountain should meet the demands.

The south entrance parking lot has a capacity of 800 cars and a new parking
plot for 400 more cars is being built at the western entrance.
