Deaf people helped by text message service

The Handicapped People Association of Guangzhou is doing its bit to make the lives of people with hearing impairment easier.

It has launched a new service, whereby it converts phone voice messages into text messages. which it then sends back to the deaf person's mobile.

They perform a wide variety of other services, such as psychological support and first aid training.
