The Shanghai government said Wednesday the state has given thumbs up to building a multi-billion dollar Disney theme park in Shanghai. Talks have started on details of the project, which has been planned in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai.

4日，上海市政府宣布：上海迪士尼项目申请报告已获国家有关部门批准，该项目将耗资数十亿美元。目前，项目双方已就合作的具体内容和细节展开深入磋商，新址将定在上海浦东新区。
