More than 30 residents of Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province, went to a village to play "happy farm", an online game, in real life last Sunday.

"We played the roles as thieves, the farmers played the guards. We tried to steal vegetables from their farm and they tried to catch us. The real game was more fun than playing it online," said Li Jian, one of the participants.
