Workers in Detroit will be urged not to wear perfumed products as a result of a $100000 settlement in a federal lawsuit filed in 2008 by a city employee who said a colleague's perfume made it hard for her to do her job, AP reported. Signs will be placed in 3 city buildings warning staffers to avoid "wearing scented products, including colognes, aftershave lotions, perfumes and body/face lotions." The employee handbook also will bear warnings.
