Argentina coach Diego Maradona has promised he will run naked around the obelisk of Buenos Aires if Argentina wins the World Cup trophy on July 12 in South Africa, The Radio Marca reported Wednesday. The obelisk of Buenos Aires, one of the main icons of Argentina, was built to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the founding of the city. Argentina is in fine form after thrashing Canada 5-0 Monday in its final warmup for the World Cup. The 1986 champions will play Greece, Nigeria and South Korea in Group B. |
