Warren Buffett won his bet of $30m against France in the World Cup after the 1998 champion was eliminated by South Africa, according to Bloomberg. Buffett told CNBC in March that his Berkshire Hathaway Inc had sold insurance requiring his company to pay $30m to a client if France won this year's tournament. France fell 2-1 to the host nation Tuesday, after tying Uruguay and losing 2-0 to Mexico. |
