Chinese auditors found RMB330m of government subsidies were wrongly given to 62,900 households whose income exceeded prescribed standards last year, Xinhua reported. Liu Jiayi, head of the National Audit Office, made the statement in a report submitted to the 15th session of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) Wednesday. Of the unqualified households that received the subsidies, 11,900 were found to own private enterprises, cars or at least 2 real estate properties, Liu said. |
