The Indian government has made a blacklist consisting of 25 Chinese telecom equipment providers and an Israeli one, the China Business News reported Thursday. Local telecom operators are banned from acquiring products from the listed companies for fear that there is spying software embedded in them. The 25 Chinese companies include Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and ZTE Corp., two of the biggest telecom equipment providers in China. |
