Plastiki, the 18m-long vessel made of plastic bottles, sailed into Sydney Harbor Monday, completing a 4-month voyage that began in San Francisco in March, the BBC reported. The Plastiki and its 6 crew weathered fierce ocean storms during their 15,000km voyage, crossing the Pacific before arriving in Australia. Made entirely from 12,500 recycled drink bottles, the voyage has raised awareness of plastic waste in oceans.(See photo)
