Researchers have found that women spend an average of 2.5 years of their adult lives cooking, according to the survey by kitchen appliance manufacturers Breville. The figure has dropped by half in the past 50 years, but men still have it easier, the Daily Mail of London reported. A man on average cooks for 1.4 years of his life. A TV chef said: "As a professional chef I expect to spend the majority of my life working in the kitchen. But 2.5 years in the kitchen during women's lifetimes, especially considering that most women are out at work all day, is a massive amount of time." |
