Cartoon musicals take the stage in Hangzhou

Actors perform in the first domestic animation musical "Magic Wonderland" during the 6th China International Cartoon and Animation Festival (CICAF), in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on April 29, 2010. The drama, adapted from a three-dimensional cartoon TV series, is an adventure tale combining drama, opera, pantomime and acrobatics catering to audiences of all ages.
The festival is the only State-level international cartoon and animation industrial festival in China. It has been held in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang, a scenic city famed for its legendary West Lake, five times since 2005.
